Einstein vs. Newton

I feel rushed.  There never seems to be enough time.  That’s an hour I’ll never get back.  I’m always late.  I never get all the stuff I want done.  I need about three more hours in the day.

These are typical Newtonian Time statements.  Newtonian Time is based on the scarcity of time, the lack of time.  Newtonian Time is based on the idea that time runs out before you accomplish what you want to accomplish.  Newtonian Time is dualistic at its core.  There’s either too much or too little at its core.  For example, if you are on an awesome vacation, time seems to fly by.  However, dinner with your mother-in-law, time may seem like it is standing still 🙂   Newtonian Time appears to be outside of you where you have little to no control over it.

However, Einstein Time taps into the creative flow.  At its core, you are the creator of time.  You are the master of time- it does not master you.  Einstein Time happens from the inside out, where Newtonian Time happens from the outside in.

I call this God’s time.  I am persuaded that there is a divine flow to our lives.  When we TRUST (To Rely Unto Spirit Totally) and rest in the creative flow of God’s time, we can stay out of stress and judgement.  Being in God’s time allows for serendipity, coincidence, and luck to take place.  When things are so rigidly structured by Newtonian Time we lose the capacity for wonder, awe, and miracles to enter into our lives.

This week let’s practice staying in the flow of God’s Time and staying out of Newtonian Time.
